The DreamLuxbeds Verona is an Italian-inspired bed frame featuring a tall 137cm panelled headboard, finished with crisp contrast piping tracing every panel and edge. Handmade to order in our Midlands workshop, with optional gas-lift ottoman storage and over 20 fabric colourways to choose from.

The Design

Tailored Panels, Framed in Contrast Piping

Most upholstered beds hide their seams. The Verona puts them on display. Slim contrast piping traces every vertical panel of the tall headboard and outlines the footboard like the lapel of a tailored jacket — a design cue borrowed from Italian furniture houses that gives the bed its sharp, architectural edge.

At 137cm, the headboard stands taller than much of our range, setting the tone for the room the moment you walk in. Looking for something even more dramatic? The headboard height can be increased as a custom option.

The Storage

An Ottoman Bed Hiding in Plain Sight

Add the optional ottoman base and the Verona transforms into a full ottoman storage bed: a smooth gas-lift mechanism lifts the slatted base with barely any effort, revealing a deep, full-width compartment beneath — enough room for duvets, seasonal bedding, spare pillows, and luggage, all hidden neatly under your mattress. A great fit for smaller bedrooms and busy households where every bit of space counts.

The slatted base also allows air to circulate underneath your mattress, helping keep it fresher for longer. Prefer to skip the storage? The standard frame keeps the same tailored headboard and piped finish in a more traditional setup.

Sizes & Dimensions

Ottoman versions add 6cm to the frame length across all sizes. As this is a handmade bed, please allow for a tolerance of ±2cm.
